    » Founded in 1962, BBS is a small business school, with approximately 900 management
    students
    » A nice cafeteria and vending machines on each floor
    » Computer labs with free printing is free (one has to carry own paper)
    • Location, environment etc
    » Away from the city center
    » Walk from nearest bus Stop, Ecole de Commerce
    • Assistance offered by institute
    » Helpful international exchange team
    » Will help you takes care of all the problems– logistic, administrative only if you give them
    sufficient time to respond
    • Language
    » English lectures in English Courses and French (Would be very helpful)
    • Scholarship(s) offered
    » None I am aware of

    • Faculty
    » Faculty is quite esteemed, very approachable and highly friendly
    • Teaching methodology
    » Lecture, cases, projects, assignments (as in IIML)
    • Work load
    » Not as much as in IIML 
    • Courses (As per PGP manual, only 6 credits from STEX)
    » Can complete only 5 courses by Dec 21
    » One cannot select the courses, same courses have been offered from the past two
    years
    • Projects on offer to STEX students
    » No projects offered
    • Comparison with IIML
    » Most courses have a European context
    » There are few exams ; evaluation is primarily done basis class participation and projects
    » Campus is very small

    Benefits of exchange at BBS 6

    • The opening semester is for students who are in between school and work
    » Three breaks of 30,15 and10 days each in between the term
    • Interaction with other students
    » People are friendly – most understand English, but not everyone can speak that well
    » Always an advantage to know some French
    • Fixed courses, if any
    » Similar to the courses offered at IIML in PGP1
    » Courses set in European context
    • Exposure to culture of visited country
    » Few events held by the International Exchange of BBS e.g. cruise, wine parties, dinners,
    orientation session, integration weekend etc.

    Living experience 7

    • Accommodation: We tried both Airbnb and Studapart for finding accommodation


    » Went through Airbnb
    » Furnished studio apartment with flame, oven, fridge and kitchenware
    • Food
    » Limited Vegetables, spices are available in Carrefour
    • Living expenses
    » 1200 euros for 2 bhk; located in the city center Rue de Siam
    » Food more expensive than in Germany, cheaper than Northern Europe
    • Ease of travel and sightseeing
    » Small City with a touch of modernity and history
    » Intra-city travel is free- Bibus Pass for 28 euros a month will cover everything
    » The city is in one end of France near UK. To visit other countries your travel tends to get
    lengthy and you need to go through Paris every time.
    » Flights out of Brest are unaffordable
    • Essential carry along
    » Warm and water-proof jacket, umbrella, inners/warmers, gloves, cap, first aid
    » All personal hygiene products (shaving kit, soaps, shampoos, etc.)
    » Ready to eat food packets and spices in good quantity
