I strongly suggest (in your own words) couching your dissent in Trump's (and followers') own rhetoric. Here's what I said:

Removing these regulations will make America sick again, cause neurological and intellectual impairment in children (due to less regulation of lead), and raise the level of preventable cancers in adults (due to less regulation of known carcinogens),thus reducing American productivity and greatness.

If hearing Trump say that Ukraine started the war with Russia infuriates you – donate to help Ukraine persevere. If you're a USA citizen and you're upset and ashamed of your current government – take part in protests, educate those around you when you can, and donate to help Ukraine persevere. If you know at least a little about history, and you see that the current processes in the world lead to WW3 – donate to help Ukraine persevere, save democracy, and show dictators around the world that they can't take everything they want by power.

Write to your representatives, engage in protests, share whatever you can, or encourage others to do so. This war is so much more than you can imagine. It's the start of something that has the potential to affect everyone, no matter where you are or what you believe in. The world is a dangerous place, and it needs every one of us to do what we can to make it safer. Don't just think good - do good, in whichever small way you can.

So this was a pre-planned (and likely paid for by the Kremlin) show: to invite Zelenskyy, scold him like a kindergartener in front of the press, present him with an unreasonable "deal" - an ultimatum - knowing full well he will refuse it (as anyone in this position would). And then tell the world: "Look, our mighty Orange King could've ended this horrible war in a day, but this poorly-dressed, warmongering, ungrateful twat just doesn't want peace! It's not our fault, we did what we could!"

The show is so cheap, so transparent, yet still effective for so many brainless people.

A buddy cop magical realism dramedy that knew how to hit really hard. And not with gore or heaps of dead bodies or convoluted plot twists but with simple human kindness. Because if there'd ever been a character who embodied the saying "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing," it's Constable Benton Fraser. When met with evil, whether it was a murder or a simple insult to an innocent, he always did something, oftentimes at a great cost to himself. He lived by example and he made people around him better through osmosis, so to speak.

Personally, I never understood the fandom fights about which Ray was better, if RayV or RayK. I loved them both for different reasons but just as much. I never had a real preference. They were both so different and their dynamics with Fraser were so different that one didn't feel like a copy of the other. They nicely brought out different sides of Fraser too which made his character richer. So, I loved both. But I'm weird like that.

One of the things that hit me the most, one scene that will stay with me, was the one in the morgue in the two-part finale, when we found out that Mort - played by the Czech actor Jan Rubeš, BTW, yay! - was in Auschwitz. Which was revealed through a dumb joke RayK made when he didn't realize what "camp" Mort was talking about. That hit, hard. And even though Mort took it in stride, I loved that RayK went back and apologized. It showed the depth of both characters, IMO.

I know that some years back there was some talk about a follow-up movie or something but honestly? As much as I adored the show - and I did, I really did, Due South and The Republic of Doyle are, IMO, the best Canadian shows I've seen so far, in all my years on this God given earth - I wouldn't want that. I would be too afraid that they would screw it up. Because the ending was perfect as it was. And what if we found out that after their adventure, RayK returned to Chicago and Fraser stayed in Canada and they haven't seen each other in 20 years? Could be. And I would rather not have that. So.

To sum it up, if you haven't seen this show, you are really missing out on something special. It's simply *chef's kiss*

Stand for Ukraine gives you a range of charity options, depending on whether you want to donate directly to the military, or you would prefer to fund non-lethal or humanitarian aid, etc.
Come Back Alive is the main fundraising platform for the Ukrainian military. You can choose to donate to air defense, heavy weapons, demining, medical aid, overall combat equipment, etc.
