Ok so sometimes its like
"Nice weather today, eh?"
"The weathers kinda shit today, eh?"
Sometimes 'eh' can be put or replaced with fam but only in specific circumstances
"What the fuck is up with that goose, eh?" no need to put fam there
"Hey fam whats wrong with you?" You can put eh at the end but you dont rlly need to
"Yo fam that goose is crazy" You can use eh and fam here but like in different parts, also I think replacing everything with fam is just a thing in my city
This is an actual learning experience. Very interesting. Does the use of 'eh' vary from East to West? Say if you're from.. Vancouver, and you talk to someone from Winnipeg or Halifax, will they use it in the same way?
No people across the country use the 'eh' more differently in some cases, In Halifax I'd say it's used maybe a little less frequently but also my time in Halifax was in tourist spots

Fair enough, though, my French teacher says that Quebec is very odd even for French speaking areas (she's Canadian, so she knows a bit). I love learning linguistic trivia though :D (as a geography and history nerd :3)

Quebec is a province that is still subject to our laws but it also has its own set of exceptions and rules and such because for some reason Quebec is full of itself
