They aren't actually dire solves though. They are genetically modified grey wolves, when current evidence suggests that dire wolves actually aren't even in the same genus as grey wolves. More closely related to bush dogs and maned wolves, if I remember correctly.

Packers are for trans men to make it look like they’re cis. They’re usually realistically human, but can just be anything really. Packers for therians specifically can look like the anatomy of their theriotype (commonly canines)
