imma say something controversial but found footage horror when done by people with a gigantic budget suck. found footage horror has and will always belong to amateur horror directors with their cheap camera, friends as their actors, and some random location

someone just said i’m gatekeeping poverty 💀 from billion dollar studios ? absolutely

I love a bird that shows an adaptable spirit, and there may be no better example than the Great Kiskadee. This bird is in the flycatcher family and is one of those birds that can do just about anything. You can see them darting out to catch insects in midair, pouncing on mice or other small vertebrates on the ground, visiting urban bird feeders, or even diving into shallow water to snatch tadpoles. They are feisty and clever animals, and about as fearless as a bird can be.

With plumage warm as sunshine and a sharp black mask, the Great Kiskadee has unquestionable good looks. If you agree, you’ll be pleased to know there are a handful of nearly identical bird species with practically the same look (like the boat-billed flycatcher)!

Where I live we call them "bem-te-vi" because of it's call and whenever it starts singing we say it's because someone is coming to visit.

Love those guys.

Also, one of those used to mock my aunt's cat by pecking it then flying away.

Truly fearless

there was a whole meme of editing their cries into various songs a couple years ago, This playlist has over a hundred videos of it

God I love the internet. The first ten seconds of that first video made audibly wheeze

hi, a lot of you need a perspective reset

  • the average human lifespan globally is 70+ years
  • taking the threshold of adulthood as 18, you are likely to spend at least 52 years as a fully grown adult
  • at the age of 30 you have lived less than one quarter of your adult life (12/52 years)
  • 'middle age' is typically considered to be between 45-65
  • it is extremely common to switch careers, start new relationships, emigrate, go to college for the first or second time, or make other life-changing decisions in middle age
  • it's wild that I even have to spell it out, but older adults (60+) still have social lives and hobbies and interests.
  • you can still date when you get old. you can still fuck. you can still learn new skills, be fashionable, be competitive. you can still gossip, you can still travel, you can still read. you can still transition. you can still come out.
  • young doesn't mean peaked. you're inexperienced in your 20s! you're still learning and practicing! you're developing social skills and muscle memory that will last decades!
  • there are a million things to do in the world, and they don't vanish overnight because an imaginary number gets too big

"Anything is fine as long as it's legal" is not the sex positive position you think it is. Anything can be criminalised. Anything can be decriminalised.

In some places it's illegal to consensually choke your boyfriend. In other places marital rape is not a crime. Develop a moral compass instead of expecting your government to tell you what is right and wrong.

Girl what do you mean there’s a goal to sex? You’re literally naked, get a grip

“But I’ll feel bad if you don’t cum!”

Okay? I said I don’t care? I just want to kiss and fuck until my vision blurs? Cumming isn’t the crux of sex

No, but I’m being so serious. If cumming is your only metric for successful sex, you need to change that. There are so many other ways to make your partner feel good and if you pressure one thing it only makes it that much harder.
