🇺🇸tony's chocolonely chocolate bar recall due to rocks🇺🇸

literally, due to rocks. they got rocks in them

april 2, 2025

Tony’s Chocolonely Inc., a New York, New York Corporation, is voluntarily recalling seven lots of Tony’s brand Dark Almond Sea Salt Bar (6.35oz); and Everything Bar (6.35oz) because the product may contain small stones. The products were distributed nationwide and sold in the United States via retail stores and www.tonyschocolonely.com; distribution of the products began February 7, 2025 and ended March 24, 2025.

emphasis mine.

this recall only affects some lots of the dark almond sea salt bar and the everything bar, due to the rock problem. they were distributed nationwide in stores and on the internet. I included their pictures at the top.

I am not able to format a table for tumblr, so check that recall link for the specific lot codes and expiration dates.

The recall was initiated following 12 reports of consumers finding small stones in the product not filtered during third-party almond harvesting and the almond processing process. All complaints occurred outside of the United States and Canada, and no injuries were reported.

they found rocks after there were 12 reports that said hey. there are rocks in this. this can easily lead to dental problems if someone tries to bite full force on a rock and breaks a tooth or otherwise injures their mouth. dental infections can eventually become life-threatening even in people who are young and otherwise healthy. so it is a good thing nobody apparently ate the rocks yet. or at least, nobody got injured while potentially eating rocks. yet

If you have purchased one of the affected products with the specified lot codes and have not yet consumed it, you are advised not to eat the product. Please return the product to the store of purchase for a refund or replacement or dispose of the product. Please consult the following webpage to confirm how to identify the lot code and claim a refund or replacement in your market: https://us.tonyschocolonely.com/pages/recall-fo-intl-0325

emphasis mine.

please do not the rocks. thank you

Do theologians in Omegaverse worlds argue about what Jesus meant when he said "I'm the Alpha and the Omega"?

That makes a lot of sense, actually.

Does anyone know the history as to how that ended up in the bible? Idk, it seems weird that a judean guy who, by historical consensus, spoke aramaic, and possibly hebrew as well, would be using greek letters in a speech. Is this passage thought to be thrown in by the council of nicea on their own? Is this a bad translation and he said the first and last letters of aramaic which was made into greek letters for western audiences? Why is this in there at all? Has the history of this passage been traced as to how it ended up in the canonized version of the bible? I find this very strange that he’d be using greek letters and I gotta know how this came up

The historical Jesus is believed to have spoken Aramaic but the New Testament was written in Greek, likely by people educated in Greek literature and rhetoric.

They also wrote for a largely Greek-speaking audience since most Christian churches at the time were outside of Judea.

Also, that speech is from Revelations- so the Jesus saying that is in a vision seen by a guy imprisoned on a Greek island. (John of Patmos, historically identified with John the beloved disciple, and IIRC imprisoned by Domitian towards the end of the 1st century). So it’s… not really attributable to a historical Jesus.

Historical Jesus spoke Aramaic but Dehydration Hallucination Jesus can speak whatever he wants

Shoutout to @cozy-fish-crow for reminding me of this amazing quote.

But it’s done! A little messy, a few mistakes, but it’s done and I’m happy.

Disney Princes: Northstar and Kyle - by Rey Arzeno ( @arzeno )

This is the most glitterpated, sparkly piece of art I have ever commissioned and it is pure squee. I still haven’t given up on turning that over-long outline about Jean-Paul and Kyle as Disney’s first gay princes into a full story, but so long as Hard Way Home is taking up most of my writing time, that’s how it’s gonna be.

But it’s hard to be at all annoyed by my lack of focus when I’ve got this in front of me. Rey did a fantastic job with the details – it’s Happily Ever After at a glance. And he really went above and beyond when it came to the setting and characters – the animal companions and the Rogue Knight there weren’t even supposed to be in the original. So yeah, I’m gonna be smiling for a good long while.

Also, no joke, getting Rey to draw JP and Kyle was on my bucket list. So I can, in part, die happy after this. ;)

I saw your Disney Princess au commission of northstar and it’s got me thinking of other aus set in a vaguely medieval Europe setting; he seems more like a rouge sneak thief maybe even have a brief history as a dangerous rebel against the monarchy… Kyle would probs be a merchant (maybe even jps former arms dealer during his rebel past)… and not to pigeonhole Aurora but uhhh she would be a cleric or a nun

And that could certainly work as an AU. The outline that went along with the Disney Princes AU was definitely more straight-up fairy tale: royal twin siblings under a curse, sharp-witted bard Kyle as the hero of the piece (because bard = PR guy for fantasy settings), animal companions, and Rogue as captain of the guard.

this video has terrible audio, but I thought I’d show how well Pangur is moving after a year on solensia! it blocks arthritic pain but not the actual deterioration, so her hind legs move a little awkwardly, but she’s racing around as though she doesn’t turn 13 this year
