Can we stop acting like two people deeply loving each other has to mean they have something romantic or sexual going on? Can we stop talking as if platonic love just can't be that deep? Because that's not true. Platonic love can be just as deep, and sometimes even deeper, than romantic love. What I'm saying is, we need to stop putting romance on this pedestal and act like every other form of love is less important.
@volunteerfelinedetectives Even if my romantic love goes out to somebody else, you'll always have a special platonic place in my heart. The love I have for you as your best friend, and from having you as MY best friend, is immeasurable. You're an amazing person illy, don't ever forget that. You're incredibly smart and find logic or reasoning in anything, you're creative and I love your ideas and writing, you're beautiful both inside and out for the person that you are, you're one of my favourite lee/lers, you're loyal and affectionate, you're supportive and respectful and I know I can always rely on you.
Don't ever forget what an amazing person you are, illy. And if you do? I'll remind you till it's stuck in your head. You're the most amazing best friend I could ever ask for, and I'll never leave you behind. You'll always be my best friend, I'll always be your best friend, and I'll always be here for you. Like I know you will for me.
Love you, little keyboard <333 /p /pl
Disclaimer for anyone who didn't get the rather obvious message the first time: This is ENTIRELY PLATONIC!!! I love illy with all my heart but she's my best friend only, we both have romantic feelings for someone different. But she's still a cutie and I'm still affectionate with her, it's just platonic rather than romantic. Thanks!
