I love all books but sometimes you read a book and you’re like so were all 21 thousand of you blindfolded and at gun point when you rated it 5 stars

crazy how I think I'm not brave enough to do some things and then I just go and get them done. and it's always like this

obligatory Yes I Am Running Out Of Things To Post About Taylor Swift (tm) disclaimer but I think about it whenever I listen to the song so: do any of you guys notice taylor says the "try and come for my job" line at the end of I can do it with a broken heart differently in the album version vs how she says it on tour? I don't think it means anything or whatever lmao I just really like the tour version more idk why it, I think it sounds more in time with the rhythm.

when you think tim mcgraw i hope you think my favorite song……. i just don’t understand how you don’t miss me in the black dog when someone plays the starting line………………..

y’all never shut up about folklore comparing love to films and then turn around and say β€œhow can a person smile like the radio” as if debut doesn’t have a running motif comparing love to a song like. when you think tim mcgraw i hope you think of me he’s the song in the car i keep singing don’t know why i do it’s strange to think the songs we used to sing the smiles the flowers everything is gone our song is the slamming screen door sneaking out late tapping on your window what’s not clicking

holy ground is fucking insane it’s like what if we’re over and that’s okay but i miss what we had even if i don’t miss you and i learned so much from what we had and i’ll carry it always i will always carry you with me and i have moved on but the love never really dies it just gets quieter and tonight i’m thinking of us not because i want you back but because love is worth remembering and i wish you were here so we could remember the love together it wasn’t perfect but it was real and nothing will ever change that. & then it’s got this fantastic beat too

like it’s her whole career!! her whole career!! she started off her WHOLE CAREER begging you to think of her when you hear her favorite song and asking do you remember all the city lights on the water and that evolves into realizing that you keep my old scarf from that very first week and you see me in hindsight tangled up with you all night and then that evolves into who could ever leave me darling but who could stay and i always felt i must look better in the rearview and then you get to you look like taylor swift in this light. and it started with a sixteen year old wanting to be remembered

hi, a lot of you need a perspective reset

  • the average human lifespan globally is 70+ years
  • taking the threshold of adulthood as 18, you are likely to spend at least 52 years as a fully grown adult
  • at the age of 30 you have lived less than one quarter of your adult life (12/52 years)
  • 'middle age' is typically considered to be between 45-65
  • it is extremely common to switch careers, start new relationships, emigrate, go to college for the first or second time, or make other life-changing decisions in middle age
  • it's wild that I even have to spell it out, but older adults (60+) still have social lives and hobbies and interests.
  • you can still date when you get old. you can still fuck. you can still learn new skills, fashionable, be competitive. you can still gossip, you can still travel, you can still read. you can still transition. you can still come out.
  • young doesn't mean peaked. you're inexperienced in your 20s! you're still learning and practicing! you're developing social skills and muscle memory that will last decades!
  • there are a million things to do in the world, and they don't vanish overnight because an imaginary number gets too big

"shipping and blorbofication are not inherently at odds with understanding a story's deep themes" and "some people can't grasp the themes of a story because they never learned how to engage with stories outside of the lens of shipping and blorbofication" are two statements that can coexist
