Let’s all be honest: after 8x11, Buck is not the member of the 118 who misses Eddie most. If he just shows up at the firehouse, Buck will be the second person to hug him in relief.

First will be Ravi, who is SO DAMN GRATEFUL that he won’t have to deal with pining Buck anymore. Sure, he’ll have to deal with BuckandEddie, but then they’re occupying each other instead of Ravi having to do it.

Bobby told this captain I’d always have a job at the 118. You think that’s true, or was he just saying that? You’re thinking of coming back? Don’t worry, you’re not getting kicked out of the house. I may need your couch, though. But what about Christopher? At least when I was there, I could send him some money. And be a firefighter. Which is the only thing I know he’s proud of me for.
