actually so tired of people who make their entire personalities being against something. like idk man if you put "i hate (group of people) btw just thought you should know that i hate this group of people" all over your profile and on every post i dont care if i agree with that im blocking you anyways. what a sad life to live

like idk man it just seems really unhealthy for you and the people around you if youre constantly hating on others and snapping at everyone around you for even acting a little bit similar to the people you hate. its not noormal to have so much hatred for a group that every single post you make has to mention how much you hate them, even when its a completely unrelated post, and you have it all over your profile. i see this a LOT in the mogai community, ive even seen people have complete hour-long meltdowns over things as small as someone on their dni liking one of their 1k+ note posts or something. like. please take a break from the internet this is not good for you and its ruining the community

ok so hey. this may just be a me issue because i'm viet but:

if you want to say someone's name and your keyboard doesn't have an accent mark that their name does, do not just use a different accent mark and say "my keyboard doesn't have it" (or if you just forget which accent mark that the name uses!). i'll be really honest and say that this, to me, is disrespectful; i'd rather you say it without accent marks entirely and say that you don't have the accent marks on your keyboard. at least in english, anglicizing my names is "technically" correct.

that's not correct. i get that you're trying to be respectful — it's mostly english speakers that do this, i notice — and that well, it's an accent mark so it's 'close enough.' but, for one, in vietnamese: using a different accent mark means that it's pronounced differently and either changes the meaning of the name to something else or removes it entirely. and, two, it's also disrespectful in that it's like going "good enough!" when you haven't really actually tried. i've spent years of my life of letting people go "good enough" in regards to how to spell or pronounce my name.

but, on the internet — and especially here — where i have my name right there where you can copy and paste or check, it feels worse.

this isn't directed at anyone in particular. it's happened several times to us over the course of our time in mogaiblr. but, i just felt the need to bring it up because it's something that makes us uncomfortable and feel disrespected when people do it.

It's a good prank when the person you pranked immediately wants in on it, and it doesn't cause any harm.

It's not just to have a "do over" that doesn't involve the original cast, it's to cut them out of the royalties. Literally the entire point is to make sure all the money made by Harry Potter goes to transphobes or people willing to work with transphobes.

If you watch it, you are supporting bigotry, hate, and oppression. That's just objective reality. All for a story that you probably have already seen in movie and book form.

#the last point is especially true since the old cast receives royalties for anything with their likeness on it#meaning the original trio still gets money for every mug with their 14 year old faces on it#if they stop making those and replace them with the new cast which they will the old cast gets cut off completely#which is again exactly what rowling wants because she cannot stand those 'ungrateful brats' as she would likely put it#and as she has last say in anything that gets made in harry potter paraphernalia this might also explain the decrease in faces on products

No you don't see us, we're in bed either all the time or when our conditions flare up and put us there regularly.
