i think peridot is less asexual and more analterous or something like that. a-fusional, really. sexual attraction is (most likely) not a thing for gems because they don't need to reproduce. i find the concept of not wanting to fuse being an aspec identity similar to asexuality interesting, but in the end, fusion is not sex. she could still be valid ace rep, but if we're getting technical, there's no such thing as asexuality nor allosexuality for gems. or, in a sense, they're all asexual.
