“If It’s True” from Hadestown sung by Damon Daunno at NYTW

I’m forever annoyed that they didn’t include this in the recorded soundtrack. To give some context: this happens right after Nothing Changes, when Hades runs out Orpheus after he snuck in to save Eurydice the first time. By singing this song, Persephone takes his side and the walls open (see: Chant II “Everybody knows the walls have ears. Is it true?”)

I got this, although I am probably way overstating everyone’s exposure to theater:

Richard has eclectic but modern taste: Little Shop of Horrors, Wicked, and Spelling Bee, although he’s more likely than not to pretend he doesn’t know any shows.

Henry almost exclusively likes Sondheim, particularly Sweeney, Passion, Assassins, Frogs, and Forum, but he also likes Candide and, astoundingly, Chess.

Camilla likes Bridges of Madison County, Side Show, Evening Primrose and, though she’ll never admit it, Les Mis.

Charles skews slightly older, such as West Side Story and Chicago, and Bat Boy.

Francis also likes Bat Boy, as well as Passion, Cabaret, and Bare: A Pop Opera, but his favorite is Kiss of the Spider Woman.

You’d think Bunny wants nothing to do with musicals, but he loves certain ones, especially traditional ones that he grew up watching his familt—Oklahoma, The Music Man—and the frat boy ones—Avenue Q, Book of Mormon, and The Producers. He also loves Jesus Christ Superstar, Jersey Boys and, for some reason, Fiddler.

new better call saul spin-off:  a demolition crew in albuquerque is destroying the ground of the old meth lab seeking the legendary heisenberg’s treasure. they find an old ornate coffin at the bottom of it, with the words ‘LALO’ engraved on it. noting that it’s locked from inside, they decide to open it as the sun is about to set…
