In Flanders fields the poppies blow Between the crosses, row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved and were loved, and now we lie In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe: To you from failing hands we throw The torch; be yours to hold it high. If ye break faith with us who die We shall not sleep, though poppies grow In Flanders fields.
This was just supposed to be two dorks being happy in a field of flowers, but then I found out about red poppies, symbols of remembrance for those who suffered in war.

I had to force myself to stop doomscrolling for a little while and what is better than some meditative linearting. So I dug up sketch I made around christmas just after this one. Originally it was meant to be more holidays themed to go with this one but yeah... It's march and I miss summer already so things changed.
Colors will take some time so if anyone has some ideas on book covers Bucky is so dramatically reading I'm very open for suggestions ;) Same for picture frames in the background. Historical accuracy be damned.
