Rewatching season 5 and it’s amazing how Sam, the abomination, Lucifer’s vessel, was the only one who had faith in the most desperate times. Cas lost his faith, Dean lost his faith, they had an unfaithful Adam on their hands. Dean was inches away from completely giving up and throw everything into the fire. And Sam had to hold it for E V E R Y O N E. He had to keep reminding everyone that there’s still hope, that there’s still a chance to win the fight, that they’ll find a way, while there was absolutely no one to tell him the same thing. He had to lift everyone. Dean told him to his face that he doesn’t believe in him, that he will say yes to Lucifer one way or another, and he WILL say yes to Michael, and after hearing all that, Sam still believed in him. It was because of Sam that Dean found the strength to say no to Michael. Sam had to lift him from the pit. For a significant period of time, the fight was entirely on his shoulders. And all of this came from him because of what he is. Because everyone around him kept telling him he can’t run away from his fate, he’s the one that fought harder than everyone to prove you can choose your own path, that you have free will. Sam Winchester is amazing and strong

I think Jared and Misha actually shares a deeper bond. Misha actually is pretty jealous of him, but still they can have fun together and enjoy eachothers company without any other agenda. Jensen is just a colleague who really cannot stand misha but tries to be nice in front if people, and misha secretly hates jensen, and takes his advantage whenever possible. But cockles shippers are blind and crazy.

I don't think neither of them have a "bond" with him. How can they? Misha is way beneath them, he only uses Jensen for shipping purposes and Jared he's so jealous of, he has to invent all these stories so his fans attack him. How can you have a bond with someone like that???

I don’t see a bond at all. I’ve always seen them as a case of keeping your enemies closer.

I’ll never forget the JIB where Jared wanted to deck M because of his queerbaiting (and impact on Jensen). I think Jared is better at managing M, he knows the man is a loose canon and can’t be controlled so he’s always meeting his “antics” head on and M doesn’t like that. He likes to be the one in control.

I think Jensen has learned through Jared to tolerate M better and to answer the rabid fetishisers more neutrally so he won’t be attacked. I think he’s learned to share space with M on his own terms so M doesn’t get the chance to take advantage of him. Even with that, if Jensen can avoid being on stage with him, he will keep that to a minimum. Their interactions are still awkward (one armed hug, 2 chairs distance between them) because Jensen (correctly) doesn’t trust what the man will do if he’s given an inch.

J2M panels are always 90% J2, 9% Mishalecki and 1% cockles (and that’s being generous on the 1%).

💯💯💯

There's no bond. I'd say their on stage persona just plays off each other better than Jensen and Misha's does. It's an act they play into. It seems obvious Jared goes out of his way to avoid him actually. He doesn't promote his other projects when the others do. He only associates with him at cons because he has to. Misha is the guy that wanted to replace him and takes shots at him when he can because he's mad he never got to. He's a petty man and that hasn't gone past Jared at all. He's just remaining professional.

Yeah I feel the same that Jared does try to keep the separation between himself and Misha a lot, coz it’s always backfired on him irrespective of how gracious he has tried to be so he has taken that conscious decision with him. Obviously if he has to, he doesn’t his best like he does with everything he does.

what baffles me the most is how people are so quick and easy to say that john was abusive (he was) but dean wasn’t (he was)

I would go further and say John's abuse was mainly via neglect- we hear implications that there was other abuse, but it is not on screen and there is the very high potential for it to be more the case of unreliable narrators. Whereas we see, on screen, actual abuse - physical, emotional and most often around control/autonomy and so much gaslighting and shaming from Dean.

Only - Jared didn't beg, asshole. We saw when Kripke begged him to join. And the following interviews. How do you even live with this much hate in you?? Does a former CW actor really get under your skin that much?? What a miserable person you are, salty.

That’s why Jensen annoys me so much, there was no need for him to tell this story knowing fully well how his hateful fans were going to interpret it.

A story in three pics

And hellers celebrating "We're so back"? Yeah, back to Jensen drinking alcohol to get through the panel. And back to the vast space between him and Mishit.

What are they back to???? They got nothing this con. I'm loving it!!! 😂😂😂

You really should be kissing her ass. Those are one of the few you get throughout the year. What if she stopped them altogether??

Yup even she stopped bothering for two years with the Jenmish panel.

glad that something hasn’t changed, hellers remain insufferable from their couch.

This site is so annoying they keep hiring hellers as writers like when they wrote a whole article about Jenmish but this one is even worse, they trash Jared for his earlier movies on the title then talk shit about Jensen briefly, like why didn't you include them both in the title if you dislike their earlier movies so much?

https://fandomwire.com/even-with-supernatural-jared-padaleckis-ratings-record-makes-him-one-of-the-worst-tv-to-movie-actors-of-all-time/

LOL just one of those dumb clickbait articles. They're relying on spn Jared fan outrage to click on it. Yeah this isn't true at all. In fact a lot of Horror fans still talk about House of Wax, don't underestimate how much horror movie fans actually like their campy horror movies. Friday the 13th 2009 is actually still talked about in that community too. These "ratings" aren't that reliable if people still talk about these films years later.

And I guess they would have loved to put MIsha's movies in there but oh wait he's never been in any but a disrespectful one about a serial killer.

Don’t give them views everyone….their article is inconsequential

Someone save this so we can laugh at it later.

You're right he's not a stupid or delusional man. Which is why he focused his publicity on Jared and didn't even mention Misha. If he were more interested in highlighting Misha over him, he would have at least talked about him don't ya think? Jared is one half of the spn brand that Kripke desperately wants to use on his show. No matter what you personally think, this does not change. Jared and Jensen are his gold mine. This isn't even about acting, it's about brand recognition of spn which centers on Jared and Jensen.

Kripke cast Jared as Sam Winchester. He knows his talent. And in fact he actually thought Misha did a bad job in his initial audition fun fact.

Misha is not a better actor. He never had one performance that stood out and any time he tried, it was just hammy, over the top and unintentionally hilarious. He is in a different tier for sure but it's far lower than Jared. He is no where near his level in career, recognition, talent and in fact he's unemployable. He has had no significant job offers. There are other extras on the show that have had better careers than Misha.

I do find it funny this just turned into a competition for Misha stans....

//Oh wow, so it's modified a little this year. I wonder why?//

I was at JIB 13, without Misha, and it seemed like people really liked the shake-up of having J2M2 panel, and the Jensen and Rich and Jared and Rob panels.

I think with Misha back at JIB (after missing two years), they needed space in the schedule, so they cut one each of the solo panels for Jared and Jensen. They were still going to have Jenmish and MishaLecki panels because there are fans who like those, but I think fans also like the Rs with the Js, so they tried to make as much fit as they could to appeal to most fans. That’s my thought anyway.

I’m a bit surprised by no J2M, but I think people really enjoyed J2R2 chaos.

I'm fine with no J2M. I don't care for those, anyway.

Oh that’s one less panel where I need to bother myself with Misha…..this is good news. 🙌 Also, glad the Mishalecki panel is shorter

For all intents and purposes this is a joke 😆

I stumbled on this today along with their usual bad Sam take & wanted to be a little mean about it …..but I had to restrain.

So here goes;

I read a tweet recently which said that the problem with the world is that some of the nicest people are not having kids and some of the stupidest people are having too many of them.

Based on their takes and if their siblings are anything like them, then I don’t think there was a better candidate for that tweet than this person’s family.

Do you think the AAs regret creating hellers? Like the hellers were good as foot soldiers to fight Jared and his fans, but now Jensen will never be free of them. I already see some AAs be annoyed that Jensen to being reduce to a ship. And who does the AAs think will help them if the hellers try to smear Jensen as a homophobia again? I can't say I feel sorry for them.

Yeah because of stuff like this..

Whenever I see an AA grow two braincells, they end up fighting and killing each other off.

I've read your commentary on YANA and the whole debacle, but you failed to mention the god-awful merchandise they tried to sell.

What even is this? Who picked the creepy horror-show font and who decided that Jensen and Misha (mostly Misha) on a hoodie would work? LMAO!!!

It's also incredibly obvious that Jared was left out of the program on purpose, even though he (and Mark) were kind enough to throw them a bone and pose for that picture.

I'm just very grateful that cash-grab charity campaign was short-lived and that the AKF campaign is continuing to thrive, 10 years on.

Link Yeah the slasher horror vibe design was a really strange choice.

the font design of “you are NOT ALONE” looked like a scrawling of a murder victim's last desperate message warning us that the killer is in the house. Even the Halloween movie poster didn't have slasher fonts.

Then you have Misha looking like a stalker to Jensen who looked like he's resigned and won't fight off an axe murderer.

In contrast to this:

The “Always Keep Fighting” text is bold and clear while Jared’s stance is confident.  He’s not afraid. He’s not looking for a fight (hence the crossed arms and relaxed shoulders) but he stands his ground and will fight back if you're stupid enough to go at him.

Link. Cool that Jared commemorated the 10th anniversary. He fought hard for himself and his message.

i don’t really vibe with the “sam is dean’s baby” reading, yes dean does view sam as a kid, but canonically it’s more about the power imbalance: it’s about the big brother in charge & submissive little brother who adores and hero worships him (the ideal version of their relationship in dean’s mind). and honestly, dean isn’t that soft or caring towards sam in canon (in comparison to fanon!dean)

Y’all to any Jared Padalecki fans out there this man is funny as hell dude. And boy do I have a funny story to tell.

Warning: if you’re a brand new SPN fan like me semi-spoiler alert, if ur a The Boys fan or Gossip Girl or anything else, please disregard this message.

So, while I was in line for autographs with my friend (who was actually getting the autograph), I was yapping about how in S4 Sam had this addiction to demon blood and I was pissed at him at the moment. I was also curious as to What The Fuck™️ this demon blood could have tasted like because imagine doing retakes and all that and constantly having to consume demon blood.

Now, as it happened a staff member overheard me and dared me to ask him. Idk why but in my head Jared is Huge (I mean like two inches taller than my brother but still) and from Texas. I’m just a curious Midwestern girlie abt S4 demon blood. And also atm a little upset abt Sam’s weirdo addiction.

However, I don’t back down from Dares. I asked him. I don’t know how I did without freaking out but I did: the answer was sugar syrup and that he also got addicted to it and he actually needed a detox after all that fake demon blood consumption bc friggin sugar. And I don’t know why but like the question just made me laugh awkwardly but he started laughing too and was like have a fun con. And it was great.

He also was the first celebrity I met and I’m still freaking out about this two days later.

(Ps I also met David Tennant and Dante Basco but those are separate stories)
