They go on an extended mission to find Dahj, once they realized she wasn't actually killed but kidnapped just before the weapon could vapourize her and has been put into stasis. So now, they're gathering intelligence and going on covert missions to try and find her and bring her home.

Ah yesssss the Dahj rescue mission definitely need Agnes. I believe Dahj and Soji definitely have the "twin thing" albeit it's artificial and it can be a hidden code in them and they need Agnes to figure it out how to activate it in Soji so they could track Dahj
