People get so mad when the poors say things like this instead of “i’m so sowwy I will give up the few things my poor ass can even afford so that you don’t have to face any accountability for your actions”.

Maybe your girlfriend didn’t want to have to deal with the constant stress and pressure to constantly validate your delusions :]

"The equation of maleness with bigness persists as a dearly loved concept. I’ve heard “Look at the big males” while viewing an elephant matriarch and her offspring in Kenya, and “Look at the big male” while sighting a female musk ox and her young in Alaska, and I’ve gnashed my teeth on both occasions. Authoritative women who correct false impressions are unfeminine and bossy but it is equally true that amateur observers of wildlife tend to assume that the largest animal in any grouping must be a male, and furthermore, that he must be in charge.

Contemplation of a big female mating with a smaller male is so at odds with our human perspective and the sort of anthropomorphizing that is found in books for children that many intelligent people are surprised to hear that in a majority of species, females do happen to be the larger sex. This is an evolutionary adaptation with probable reproductive advantage for the American bald eagle, the king crab, the snowy owl, the gypsy moth, the chinchilla, the garter snake, the python, the right whale, the humpback whale, the gray whale, the blue whale (thus the largest creature in the world is female), all families of rabbits and hares, the hawks and the falcons, toads, sharks, salmon, flounder, most hummingbirds and turtles, and other fish, birds, reptiles, amphibians and insects too numerous to mention.

Only a half-inch shorter than Prince Charles when she wore her flat heels, Lady Di was reduced in stature by a full head for the postage stamp that commemorated their royal wedding. “She looked up into his eyes” is more than a breathless phrase from a Gothic novel; it is an expression of the heterosexual relationship as we expect to find it. When a woman stands taller than a man she has broken a cardinal feminine rule, for her physical stature reminds him that he may be too short—inadequate, insufficient—for the competitive world of men. She has dealt a blow to his masculine image, undermined his footing as aggressor-protector. To show a man that he may not be needed is a terribly unfeminine stance."

Misogyny.

I know this wasn’t the OP’s intent, but this comic strip truly does show where the critical social analysis stops with trans-identified females.

Like they recognize the misogyny and socialization they experienced as little girls was wrong and why it’s wrong. I’m sure the OP of this comic will be the first to tell you that it was traumatizing that she was forced to wear dresses and other clothes that prevented her from being free and active and run around and play. Then when she fought back and wore less restrictive clothes, she received harmful social feedback. That’s socialization 101.

But then the conclusion she draws is that she must not be a girl. Real girls like performing femininity, so because she rejects it that means she must be a boy instead.

It’s so close to understanding the roots of patriarchy and female socialization and misogyny. If only these people could realize that they aren’t the problem. Their personalities and rejection of femininity don’t make them men, it makes them normal women who have trauma from harmful patriarchal expectations of female humans. Just like every other woman.

And no radfem has said transmen don't experience misogyny--that's usually the transwomen talking down to y'all. Radfems are the ones saying you do experience it because you're female.

Love them not replying to me rightfully pointing out the conversion therapy logic.

This has to be bait nobody is this stupid- what the fuck do these morons think happens when two people have SEX? Holy shit. They’re so homophobic and stupid it hurts, but they have to be to fulfill their fucked up ideology. Also them calling me “honey” ???? Lol a bit odd but whatever.

Yes I am attracted to both sets of genitals, the SEXUAL REGION of the body?? Yes I want to engage with vagina sexually… because I am very attracted towards it? I love it and have known this since puberty?

If same-sex attraction wasn’t exclusive for gay men and lesbians, then they literally think there is no purpose for them being oppressed bec they could’ve married someone of the opposite sex. I’m screaming and headbanging rn

YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS SHIT UP

Thems terfy words. Better watch out

Does anybody else remember the fiasco of the OF women who were essentially pretending to be trans. That was hilarious. It puts TIMs into like. A feedback loop. It breaks their Brains because for the first time they get a GLIMPSE (mind you, only a glimpse) of how they make us feel.

I love how they understand the womanface = blackface comparison when they are on the receiving end of it.

male wants single sex spaces, thinks people of the opposite sex do not gain the right to that space just because they "identify as" into it

"I'm going to kill you" is one of the three trans jokes, alongside "cartoon character says trans rights" and "everyone secretly wants to have sex with me"

it's amazing how terfy their arguments sound

uh, reducing people to their genitals much? I thought we weren't allowed to do that

these are the same people who think being asked to disclose they are trans to sex partners is fascism, but heaven forbid a female not disclose that she is female anyway, to summarise:

they are all "support sex workers" until the "sex workers" in question are doing stuff they don't like. then it's "choke on your dildo cissoid bitch"

more proof that leftist support of "sex work" has less to do with empowering sex workers and more to do with male control of the female body

op appearently blocked me but this is such a banger

Actually everyone who thinks like this should be required to go thru the American public school system from birth and then see if you can find Venezuela or Nigeria on a map without using Google. You won't be able to. Lol . Unless you have well educated parents or something who teach you outside of school.

Tumblr does overcorrect to the point where they claim that there are no issues with school curricula, and as someone who witnessed government discourse in New Zealand about the way our schools gloss over colonisation just a few years ago I regularly scream “who do you think benefits from this ‘there is no war in Ba Sing Se’ ass shit?!?! Why are you letting this old white American man claim that his way of teaching history is above reproach?!?!?!”

But in this case the issue is that these people aren’t using Google. They’re making a lot of effort to learn about things they’re interested in, like fandom, but they’re not using that same initiative when they see discussions about other countries. And that is on them and it is something that we as Westerners are bad about in general.

“it makes us feel unsafe for you to say you don’t want to have sex with men” male moment

I love the way he says at the end “make it safer for us, make it comfortable.” For them anything that makes them “uncomfortable” is seen as dangerous, as literal violence. No thought or consideration to how uncomfortable they make others feel when they express their entitled attitudes.

“don’t post it on main to get 100k likes” damn maybe you should reflect on why so many people agree with her….. “it makes us feel unwanted” baby that was the point!!! you ARE unwanted! hope this helps xoxoxo

I know this is really old but the girl on the lefts facial expressions are killing me LOL

“Homosexuals should keep it to themselves!”

“Prefrences are fine just don’t say it in public” how about no. I’m going to scream it from the rooftops no dicks.

Hey, Mr Conversion Therapist, one of your pals gave you some advice:

It’s so unfair that the women who led the Temperance movement (which led to alcohol prohibition in the 1920s in the US) are painted as these joyless prudish nags who hated when others had fun, when really their issue was the fact that male failure to responsibly consume alcohol led to the rape, neglect, battery, and murder of their wives and children. They couldn’t stop male violence, but they did what they could to stop what exacerbated it.

To add to this, men controlled the family finances. So if it was going disproportionately on booze, that is less money for food, sanitation, rent, clothing, and household supplies. Men were impoverishing their families in favour of the drink.

I recently read Compañeras, a book about women Zapatistas living in autonomous communes in Mexico, and one of the things these women really insist on is banning alcohol. Because men drink and waste the little money they have, or don’t earn any money and just work in exchange for alcohol for pay, and then they come home drunk and beat and assault the women.

All the communes where these women have significant say in the organisation have banned alcohol.

That’s a lot of words just to say “I hate the idea of informed consent”

I don’t need to see the genitals of “Emerald-Rose” to know he’s a man. And neither does anyone else. His entitlement and attitude tells everyone.

What an impossible thing to hinge acceptance upon. No other oppressed class in the history of humanity needed the destruction of other people’s sexual boundaries for their liberation. Fucking incels.

Any male that surrounds you in your daily life is no different than the same males who oppressed women 100 years ago, 1000 years ago, 10000 years ago and so on.

Women in the west look at countries like Afghanistan where female oppression is much more severe than here, but they don’t make the connection that if their father, brother, boyfriend, husband or son had been born in such countries, they would treat women and them the exact same way.

It is the laws that WOMEN FOUGHT FOR in western countries that protect us from certain issues, and even then they don’t always protect us or bring us justice. Males are the same as they were 100 years ago, any number of years ago, they are and always will be inherently evil.

Think of your ancestors who were forced into marriage and birthing children over and over. To be born in a world where you know from the day you’re born that your only use and purpose is to be a slave to a male with absolutely no way out. This still happens in so many parts of the world today, however, because of how selfish how many of you are, the reality only seems to sink in when they imagine themselves and their ancestors in such situations.

The fact there's not a massive uprising of afghani men who want to protect women should tell women all over the world something very important.

The Morning Visitor (1967) Dino Buzzati

This piece is obviously about rape, man

I’ve mentioned before how pornography requires a pseudo-dehumanisation of the man in order to dehumanise the woman. The male has to be a stand-in for the viewer, like the blank-slate protagonist of a film. The individual man has to be erased to complete the propaganda, for sexual domination has to be by all men against all women, or else the entire patriarchal house-of-cards falls down. In all sexual violence, the individual male sacrifices himself - his empathy, his love, his humanity, in the paranoid pursuit of aligning himself with the collective male.

The fact that a viewer can see this image

and not percieve it as anything other than pure, inhuman malevolance - but rather as a stand-in for some random guy, perhaps just like them - is a testament to just how we’re totally used to pornography completely and utterly saying the quiet part out loud.

And the tag saying ‘MAKE HER COME […] LET’S GO BROTHER’: This is the language of pornography: the collective male dominates, penetrates and consumes the collective female. Her destruction is inherently erotic - her ‘consent’ and orgasm are proof that she is fundamentally masochistic, and through this men prove that their sadism is not just natural but transcendent. But the language of the tag is still positive - it is not attempting to incite violence, and implies some veneer of consent. However, the foundation of how sexual language is constructed - and how/why it is used - is of male thinking, of sexual violence, of rape, of the collective male vs the collective female. There is no real need for us to cheer on the concept of some random ‘brother’ making a woman orgasm: sex is not a spectator sport; but nonetheless, the language evokes that imagery, and would not be used that way if it didn’t satisfy something in both the writer and presumed reader. Note how the woman is still ‘her’ - nameless, representative of ‘other’ - whereas the man retains some inherent relation to the reader. When I say that the man is pseudo-dehumanised, this is what I mean: he is an actor, a symbol - but, at the end of the day, he is an actor of sexual violence, and therefore re-earns his humanity, in a way she, ‘naturally’, cannot.

this post sucks ass lol how tf do people keep saying this shit and having it get 10k+ notes

Religion is a thing that is being used to ban women and girls in Afghanistan from SPEAKING so no I will not be falling for this manipulation tactic.
