Last spring, Laila contacted me asking me for help spreading her family’s campaign. It’s been over six months and it still hasn’t met it’s goal. I don’t even know what to say anymore to convinve peoole to care- I feel like everyone who’d be motivated to help already is. Literally any amount of money helps, and even if you are genuinely too broke to donate a dollar, spreading these campaigns so someone who can help matters. I fear for Laila every day, even before my account was terminated (which I can only assume was related to the spree of deletions occuring while people accused Palestinians and their supporters of being scammers) I hadn’t spoken to her in weeks, and I can only pray that she’s still alive- along with her pregnant mother and the rest of her family. Her cousin, Tala, had her account terminated, and her gofundme has closed. We’ve failed Tala, but it’s our obligation to help Laila before it’s too late as well. I’m offering commissions in exchange for donations of at least $15, examples below, and if anyone else has something to offer in exchange for commissions, I encourage you to sound off in the reblogs.

Every day there is a new massacre, a new atrocity, a new act of inhuman cruelty. We need to help those whose genocide is funded by our tax dollars. I've lost the love of my life, and my fingers refuse to write the word “death” in connection with him. I am still in denial, grappling with the harsh truth that he is gone. Now, I live amidst the ruins of memories—everything around me serves as a reminder of him. He adored the sky and the sea, always fascinated by the stars.
