imagine you get promoted to head torturer of the torture factory but the torturers above you can’t even bother to change the name on the computer to yours, THEN you’re given a stack of blackface paintings that you have to smile and say thank you for and when you try to commiserate over this with the only other black person you work with she looks at you like you’re crazy, THEN you have to take the blame for the ceo’s daughter trying to live her selfship fantasy, THEN the company gets mad you haven’t cleaned up their mess well enough, THEN you’re forced to dumb down your own language because a literal child complained it was too hard to understand but you keep going back because you’re head torturer at the torture factory and they need somebody to be the bad guy

and all this while serving

nixon homophobia moment has lodged its way into my brain and refuses to leave. truly the best worst DW moment. hard to imagine anything will top this.

T*njack shippers are delusional im sorry. Ten hates Jack. He hates him so much. It’s never gonna happen.

Just remembered that the sauna thing with Taka & Mondo in thh actually happened like that totally sounds like a this-would-never-happen-but-it's-fic-over-realism "there was only one bed"-esque kinda forced feeling fanfiction scenario. Like someone thought to themselves "what situation can I make up as the base for a slashfic". Like. Ohh these two guys hate eachother and they want to find out who's stronger or whatever. How will they do that. Oh uhhh a test of indurance. In a sauna. Yuppp also the guy they brought as a supervisor leaves halfway through so they're aaall alooone. But it's not fanfiction it actually happens it's canon

“There’s a whole backstory there that is just kind of alluded to, but it’s basically, the idea is that Mark came in and he was inexplicably better at refining the files than others were, at least for that first file that he worked on, which was called Allentown.” – Dan Erickson
