"It's a dingle-hopper!"

Oh I could just pinch her to death!

Happy 8th Anniversary

For our 8th Anniversary, Jared planned it- and suprised me.. something that is not easy to do. He planned it right down to the babysitters, he deserves major kudos.

So we ended up at Zermatt, a resort up in Heber Utah, close to the Homestead, you may have seen it if you have been up there, it's a swiss looking resort, the valets are dressed up in their nickers, which is actually silly, but fitting.

We went shopping at Tanger outlets, we layed out by the pool, even though it was only int the 80's, we managed to pinken ourselves. Then we had dinner, and went to bed, you may think, went to bed! But more than anything I love to sleep. Okay so maybe we didn't go right to bed, but really that's not your business. It was a good day/evening/morning. I love my sweetie very much. Thanks for a fantastic getaway!

Create the Group

Jared's sister Lisa is married to Dave, he is always going, I never knew what he was up to, till now.. Watch the show, I will update stuff about the group on the site. If you watch the trailer at kjzz.com, you see Dave in it, he's the guy in a white shirt, talking about if they want it.

They have a myspace, and you can listen to some of their stuff, http://www.myspace.com/taylorvaifanua

Rizotomy

Tomorrow I am having a rizotomy (rhizotomy) it will be done internally, sometimes they are preformed by opening you up, but they will be using epidural like needles to do the procedure. They will burn or heat up the nerve endings, hopefully alleviating a lot of the pain I have. The drawn picture shows sort of how it works, the little y looking thing is the nerve. The black and white photo is how they view my spine through the procedure. They use fluoroscopic lenses or something. It's kind of funny, they do the same thing for injections, there are about 4-5 people in the room, one nurse monitors my heart, one assists the Doctor, one guides the light, x-ray machine, seems like there is one more person floating around the room and the Doctor of course. The whole procedure should take all of 45 minutes, but its not fun because A) Your awake through the procedure. B) You are only wearing a hospital gown and under pants so it's pretty cold, and embarrassing. C) They need you awake to verify they have the nerve ending in just the right spot, how do they do this you ask, simple, they poke and prod until you are ready to fly kick the doctor. There are approximately 6 areas they will do this. Don't be jealous.

Mirror Lake-- Camping.

So we went to Mirror Lake and had so much fun, we have been there before and it is always so beautiful, full of little creatures, deer and kid friendly hikes. Mirror lake is in the Uintas, if you go through Kamas and take the turn off there you get there fairly easily. Since we went up Wednesday and came home Friday, we left Jared and Osita to fend for themselves, Jared did all the grocery shopping and only forgot minimal things that I didn't get on the list, and Osita was so excited to have us back. Osita is the dog.

Putting up rain cover.

How do you resist taking pictures of your kids when they are so cute?

"Mom, take a picture of me."

I do have a son.

"Mom, take one of me like this" (little mermaid pose)

"Oooh! Take one of me by the lake!"

Anytime we left the camp, Caitee would find a rock, or a log and ask me to take pictures of her. I didn't want to be rude, but I had taken so many pictures already, so I pretended to take pictures! HAHA!

Soraya and Little Sage.

American Idol

Oh Sanjaya Malakar, the only vibe I caught off your performances were that you loved yourself dearly and would like to be a Michael Jackson wannabe.

Gina. She sang really well, sounded a lot better live.

Blake, he gave me five. I can't wait for this kids CD, it will be delicious to my ears.

Chris, what a cutie. He sounded so much better live! I didn't care much for him on TV, but I am a fan now! The guys were by far the most entertaining.

Jordin and Melinda- What can I say, did you ever doubt they could sing?

Lakisha, she sang a Whitney Huston song that was amazing. I had to get a picture of her on the monitor because she hung out in center stage.

I was not suprisingly dissapointed by.. Hailey Scarnato?? and Chris Sligh, and Sanjaya. I got a picture of Phil, but it's his shiny head amidst darkness.

bug bites!

Okay so I look gigantic in this photo, bad angle for sure.

I woke up one morn, with itchiness on my side, low and behold, a spider, or some kind of bug seemed to have a picnic on my love handles. I never figured out what it was that bit me.

Wheelin'

My brother Cam took Gavin wheelin', they had a lot of fun, and caused minimal damage with his red ryder bb gun. Few! This cruiser has been in the family for ever, it was how my parents brought Cameron home from the hospital. Obviously there have been some modifications.
