Oh dear..

So this week has been crazy busy.. I had to go into work because I suck at selling Proactiv, so I have been getting up at 3 AM! I am a zombie by 12 or 1 in the afternoon, not to mention that its been a busy week. Monday was nice cause it was Memorial day, we just hung out, went and visited Grandpa Thatchers burial site. It is so hard to believe that it's been 5 years since he passed, seems like 10. Grandpa Thatcher is Jared's gramps and I loved him so much, he was so awesome. When Jared and I married I already had Gavin and Grandpa Thatcher just took him under his wing and made sure that Gavin felt just as special as any of his other grandkids.

Soraya also had her last competition with HIP dance Co.. Her class placed 1st in hip hop and got over all high score.. so good freakin' job. she is doing so well, coming into her own little dancer personality, they were practicing for the finale last night and I just love to watch her, it makes me sad to see her growing into this person, but happy at the same time. I guess that is what happens as you get OLD. You are okay with your kids growing up.

Gavin has always like to do his hair, he gets it from me I'm sure, when he was really little he would have Aunt Loni do mohawks for him and he would think that it was THE coolest thing ever. Now that he is gigantor he does his own hair, everyday is a suprize, I'll have to post the many hair do's of Gav one day, but this is how he opted for Saturday.
We went to the West Jordan Park on Sunday and had loads of fun, we used to take our kids to the park all the time, but for some reason, could have a lot to do with the weather we havent been in a while. Here is a really cute picture (I thought) you notice all the kids have the same chin.. lol
It's not very often that our kids will sit quietly together without getting mad about someones foot, blanket or whatever crossing the boundry, but one evening we were suprised to find all four angels sitting sweetly close to each other watching cartoons.
A girlfriend from ages ago got married a while back, it was such a pretty ceremony. Anyways, I had been friends with Zeni since 8th grade, but we fell out of touch and have since become friends again, it helps that she lives in America again. These are some of my friends from school as well, Candice-on the left- we used to rollerblade crazy distances cause we were cool like that, she is expecting her 2nd child, Julie was the most stable person I knew in highschool, she was probably the first friend I made when I started going to Olympus Jr and I just love her. (I love you too Candice & Zen)I think I look like a boy with cleavage, but that is a cute dress I got from BLACK WHITE if you want to borrow it Angi.

We had so much fun, and I keep fretting over how to put the pics on here so everyone can enjoy our photos, it would take post after post just to give you an idea of the joy we experienced. I would like to thank firstly, Walt Disney for imagining the hap-happiest place on earth. Really, have you noticed that even the workers are happy? Unless you are a smart alek kid causing drama, they are really genuinely happy to assist you in any way, I don't know how many times I ran up to the nearest worker and said "CLOSEST BATHROOM" and even though I butted, they would smile and say the directions in their simplest form. Okay I do have one complaint though. Belle. You suck. I'm sorry, your pretty and you make a great Belle, but could you be any duller? I mean you are allowed to talk, Ariel talks, Jack Sparrow talks(hubba hubba- don't get me started), Pocahontas talks (and was great, she kept talking, and talking, and asking questions, she was so cute with Ella, even Prince Philip talked more (and was very charming by the way). The only thing we got from Belle was, "why don't you stand in front of my dress" Eh? Aren't you supposed to be the most educated, free spirited thinking princess of all? How about, "are you having a great time?", "What's your favorite color?", "how old are you?" or some other witty princess comment. Anyways, it was totally fun, the kids loved it, Ella still talks about the Buzz Lightyear ride and the finding Nemo submarine adventure. Can't wait to take them again.

The Ocean

I love, Love, LOVE the ocean! I wish we could live closer. I am happy my kids love the ocean as much as me, we only were able to visit the ocean a few times and one of the days it was a little chilly, although we somehow managed to fry our kids-woops! This was our first day at the ocean, also the reason why Caitlee, Ella and Soraya are in jeans, it didn't stop the kids from getting soaked and filled with sand, everytime Ella bathed she would leave remenants of the ocean in the tub, I couldn't figure that one out.

How dumbo am I? The whole time we were in California this is the only family photo that I got and who knows what the freak I am doing. Apparently I am watching way to much "America's Next Top Model" cause I am striking the weirdest pose ever. Anyways, at least we got on picture of us right? This was just as we got to our destination, we were cooped up in the car for about 4-5 hours, just after our first trip to In-N-Out burger. YUM!

Oh Bummer..

Driving to Vegas, about 20 miles out of the city, we got a flat. It wasn't just "a flat" the tire was then damaged and needed to be replaced. But as most of you know, unless your tires are in tip top shape, you can't just get one new tire, we had to buy two. Have a nice trip, right?

I do have to give props (woot woot) to my husband, Jared, he didn't swear once, that I heard, and was only grumpy for a few hours afterwards, and Jason, thank goodness he was around to help out. Highway patrol pulled over and watched Jared and Jason change the tire and took some personal calls, other than that I think he was just being too cool for school.
