Busier than a bee..

I'm sitting here watching my favorite reality show, AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL. Yes I did say FAVORITE. But, before you knock it, I have watched it since the first season. It's more of an addiction than a voluntary reaction. I have been a little busier than normal, I feel like I say that every six months.. ha ha, I have been doing school at nights from 5-10, work is throwing me for a loop saying that I now have to work weekends, messing up my shift up, so now I'm looking for another job, unless Oc pulls their head out. On top of that, life, homeschooling, dance, gymnastics, a toddler, a husband... oh my gosh what else can I add to that list?

Thankfully, noting that-- nothing is coming up for a LONG time..

With that said, *sigh* I have left the securities of the freshman room in school, I am now on the floor, cutting, perming, styling clients. My first color was fun, all over dark with "peek-a-boo" highlights, it ended up taking forever because I followed the instructors advice, I won't go into details. Then my first hair cut was this older Momish person. She had super thin limp hair and of course, she goes to a hair school to be picky.. Ya nice. So I thought I did a good job 'fluffing' up her hair, but she didnt seemed thrilled so who the freak knows. This is the part of hair school that either makes you or breaks you and I sure as hill hope it doesn't break me..

In the mean time, my baby girl was baptized today. It was a few months late, and I have many mixed feelings about it, but I sure am happy that we live in a country where we are able to practice the free agency we are blessed with.

NEW YORK, NEW YORK

Start spreadin' the news, I'm leaving today.. I don't know these words, NEW YORK!!

I have been thinking and thinking of how I am going to do this post, and I have to say that any way I do it, it will not equal the magnitude of my trip. New York is amazing, and that word isnt even enough to describe it. We did so much walking and I actually came home weighing less, we ate a lot of yummy food, there were bakeries that had the best brownie ends ever, I am still craving pepperoni and jalapeno pizza, and of course, my hot dog from Nathan's at Coney Island. YUM! We went and saw Wicked, which was everything I wanted it to be.. and more, we did Canal Street shopping, the Rock, and of couse we went out to ground zero.

New York, I miss you, but I will see you soon.

My little papoose.

So I don't know if I spelled that right.
Little Ella has been so much fun, there is something about being the youngest, you get all the love and attention you could ever ask for and your always so cute. Ella likes me to wrap her up tight after her bath before I put some yummy smelling lotion on her. Here are some pics of my little papoose.

These pics were of the same day, after she was all ready to go play outside.

CaLiFoRnIa! & Club 33

The weekend of the 22nd Jared and I went to California with my brothers and my parents. This was one of the funnest vacations I have ever been on. My brothers are so entertaining, we flew in Friday and went to Disneyland, and since it was the day before my 30th birthday, we (my Dad and I share a birthday) wore Happy Birthday tags! Which is like the coolest thing ever because every Disney employee wishes you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY, as if there job depended on it. We even used the birthday card to get on Indiana Jones through the fast pass line.. we totally got denied trying that through Space Mountain and when we tried to sneak through that way we totally got busted, and everyone took off and left my Dad standing there, haha, oh good times.. We played at Disneyland until we couldnt take it anymore, and still the next day we wondered why we left so early! (and hour before close) It was my first visit to Club 33 (copy and paste this into your browser for more info on Club 33 http://www.disneylandclub33.com/expandedphototourpage.htm )
The next day we spent at the pool, then dined at Cheesecake Factory and I got keylime cheesecake and I highly recommend that. The next day followed the same pattern, only we ate at PF Changs which was so good and we left feeling like stuffed turkeys! Over all it was a fantastic trip. Thanks Mom and Dad!! I did have my tonsils taken out on the 19th, so I wasn't able to eat all the delicious foods everyone else did, but it was still fun.

This is really gross...

Here are some pics from our trip, now, the gross part...

So if you aren't good with gross things, LOOK AWAY!! I am pretty behind and I am going to try like H-E double tooth picks to get caught up.

About 3 weekends ago, we went up to our friends cabin up in Mt Pleasant, it was very pleasant, thank you, it made me realize how much I would love to have a cabin tucked away for summers.. Anyways, all was well, we went 4 wheeling, ate lots of yummy foods and played around the yard. We got home and went on as normal, a few days later Gavin came to me and said he had something on his head, he was complaining of a sore neck the day before, and I told him it's cause he kinks his neck while playing his Nintendo DS, makes sense, right? Anyways, I looked in his hair and didn't see anything until he pointed me to the right direction, OH MI GOSH! There was a bug, not just any bug, a TICK! It was wiggling and everything! Its head was inside Gavin's head, I didn't want to yank it out and have the head go on living, so needless to say we ended up getting it out (with the Doc's help) and all is well, no infection or anything. Heres some pics, don't vomit.
