grace gets stitches

Grace was playing at her friend Sadie's house and slipped off the dresser and bit into her lip. She said a prayer right before the Dr. numbed her lip and Grace was calm and distracted while getting 2 stitches. Afterwards we went to target and let her pick out some fruit popsicles and then she went back to Sadie's house to watch a movie and eat popcorn.

Neal turns 2!

Christmas morning 2011

was simple. Grace and Neal woke us up and we let Patten keep sleeping while we each opened a few gifts. It was really so nice to tone it down and keep it more about giving than receiving this year.

One afternoon the kids and I decided to drive over to the temple and walk around the grounds and enjoy the calm and peaceful spirit that is felt there. Grace talked about how she is very excited to go inside someday and be married to her prince.
