It bears repeating that while a ceasefire is absolutely vital, it is only the bare minimum. We say this because we understand the cessation of this horrific violence as only the beginning of the road towards freedom and justice in Palestine.
Comparing Israeli aggressions against Gaza, even just the ones between 2008 to 2014 to 2023, though each one ended with a ceasefire agreement, each aggression was on a larger scale than the one that preceded it, each with more devastation and destruction than the one before. So a ceasefire is not the final answer to Israel’s terror. A ceasefire doesn’t end the occupation. A ceasefire doesn’t end the apartheid. A ceasefire doesn’t lift the siege. It doesn’t allow Palestinians back to cultivate their lands and it doesn’t hold criminals accountable.
In the words of Angela Davis: freedom is a constant struggle. We’re here for the long run and we have a lot of work to do.
Guys i don’t want to optimize you if you still care about genocide in gaza .
But the news saying the ceasefire agreement is done and they will maybe tomorrow Announce it .
Best thing is the isareli army will withdraw from all Gaza Strip that’s mean the Rafah border crossing will back to work again so i need your support your help so I could take my brother Mohammed out to be with his Son Zayed and his wife.
And didn’t told you before my brother Omar engaged and His fiancee still in north gaza. He asked me alot to tel you about her so he can also be with the love of his life.
Don’t think your contribution is small even the one dollar helps . Sharing also helping.
Update : Egyptian sources to Al Arabiya TV: The authorities responsible for operating the Rafah crossing received official letters calling on them to prepare to open it within days
Israel will withdraw from the Palestinian side of the crossing
To the good and philanthropists around the world🍉🙏
I am writing to you today as the son of a mother who has endured unimaginable suffering. My name is Youssef, and I am seeking your support to help my mother, who lost her hearing in her right ear as a result of the brutal siege and airstrikes in Gaza. The war has taken so much from her, but the loss of her hearing has been one of the most devastating consequences.
My mother, once full of life and able to communicate freely, now faces the daily struggle of isolation and silence. A hearing aid is her only chance of regaining some semblance of normalcy, but the cost of such a device ranges from $1500 to $2000 — an amount that is beyond our financial means due to the ongoing hardships we are enduring.
I am humbly reaching out to you, knowing that you are people of compassion and kindness, to help us provide this essential aid for my mother. Your generous support will not only restore her ability to hear but also allow her to regain a sense of connection to the world around her.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will have a profound impact on improving her life and giving her back her dignity. We trust in your generosity and hope that you will answer our call, as you have always done for those in need.
May Allah bless you all with health, peace, and prosperity.

Due to the ongoing war in Gaza by the Zionist entity, I have lost my source of income and am unable to meet the basic needs of my family. The war has destroyed our dreams, and I am now unable to provide food, education, or even psychological and social support for my family.
I appeal to kind-hearted individuals to help us financially and economically. We need your support to provide:
• Food and basic necessities for my family.
• Psychological and social support to help them cope with the effects of the war.
• Education and healthcare.
• Clothes and other essential items that meet their needs.
In addition, we are in urgent need of traveling to a safe place, away from the ongoing horrors of war, where we can live in peace and start a new life, giving us the opportunity to rebuild our future.🙏
My hope lies first in God, and then in the generosity of kind and benevolent people to support us in these harsh conditions. Your donation will be a lifeline for my family and will give us hope for a better tomorrow.
See with your own eyes what happened to our house that used to house all my family members and all my memories in it💔💔
Tagging for reach, please message me if you want off the mailing list! We thank you in advance.🙏

The family’s resilience is inspiring, but their circumstances are becoming increasingly desperate. Abdallah and Omar are doing everything they can, but their resources are stretched to the breaking point. They need immediate assistance to survive these new challenges.

guys if one more person leaves a tag like this on my post im gonna lose my mind. There Are Science Fiction Authors Who Are Not Misogynistic Men
ok i’ve gotten one too many ‘this is why i don’t read sci-fi’ comments so here’s a rec list for the people convinced all science fiction is bad and misogynistic (with something for everyone, hopefully!):
(also, btw, the book links are to the Storygraph, which includes content warnings for each one!)
smth funny and lighthearted about a security robot who’d rather watch TV then do its job? all systems red by martha wells (first novella in the The Murderbot Diaries series, 6 books, ongoing)
a complex, intricate political space opera following a warship AI who’s lost (almost) everything? ancillary justice by ann leckie (first in the Imperial Radch trilogy) (fun fact! bc of space linguistics reasons, all characters in this series are referred to with she/her pronouns, making gender a non-factor - it’s really cool!)
a dark story about travelling between parallel universes and a woman who is dead in almost every single one? the space between worlds by micaiah johnson(standalone) (SO good, i don’t get to recommend it often enough!!!)
a story about grief and letting go, and a unique take on alien invasion? the seep by chana porter (standalone novella)
hey, how abt some dystopian YA, for old times sake? specifically, one with sapphics and sick mechas? try gearbreakers by zoe hana mikuta (first in duology)
or, if you’d prefer something a bit less angsty, YA about a ragtag group of teens and a space heist? the disasters by m. k. england (standalone)
a hopeful utopian future and a human-robot friendship? a psalm for the wild-built by becky chambers (novella, first out of two) (this author’s got a whole bunch of hopepunk sci-fi novels in general, if that’s smth you’re looking for!)
africanfuturism, coming-of-age, and cool jellyfish aliens? binti by nnedi okorafor (novella, first in trilogy)
cosmic horror with an autistic scientist, cyborg angels and AI gods? the outside by ada hoffmann (first in trilogy, 2 books are out)
also, if you’re a fan of Janelle Monáe, may i draw your attention to the fact that they’ve recently come out with a Dirty Computer short story collection, each story co-written with a diff writer?
A/N: Written for Yuen, for the FandomTrumpsHate2024 charity event. Prompt was for a found family/friendship fic with some Kaveh and Faruzan moments where they bond over “loneliness” + losing family/friends they’d never see again, and with sprinkles of Kavetham throughout.
This piece became much more plot- and dialogue-heavy than I had initially expected. But thank you for your patience, Yuen, and I hope you’ll still enjoy reading it! :’)
