Oh this was so fun!! Stupid, queer, millennial messiness expertly balanced by an engaging ensemble of undeniably charming characters.
Pitch perfect rom com that is genuinely funny and touching without leaning too much on schmaltz or cringe. I laughed lots and actually got a bit choked up at points!

A lot of promise here that sadly culminated in a bit of a messy, thin and toothless thriller.
I think my main problem was the lack of rumination or ominous world building. Just creepy vibes from the off which ultimately made the puppet-like characters’ complacency feel irritating as fuck. That third act escalation was so expected that it sucked all the air out of any present or tangible threat.
