  My man Denis still hasn't made a bad movie.

  This feels surprisingly reverent of the Lynch version, and tellingly ends at exactly the point in the story where that director ran out of time and had to start jamming everything into like four scenes.

  Some of the dialogue gets blown out by the score, and the design of the Harkonens left me cold, but there are more than enough gorgeous murals and brutalist cityscapes to make up for it.
