I commend Soderbergh for not being predictable with his movies and choosing a wide variety of styles and genres to tackle. He is always willing to experiment, swing for something even if it might not hit. Presence was a perfect example of this.

He constructs his worlds so well, that even though all of his movies have a surreal mysticism to them, they simultaneously feel rooted in reality. Each movie has so much atmosphere, it is difficult for me not to get wrapped up in it. I never once question them.
