My expectations for this were high, though I tried to keep them under control because hype can be a movie's worst enemy. However, this movie met and exceeded any expectations I had.

It's just great. It felt like a throwback to Hong Kong movies of the 80s and 90s through a modern lens. Throughout most of its running time, I kept getting this feeling that I was watching one of those Hong Kong gems I used to discover at the…

An old favorite, but I just revisited again recently and I absolutely love this movie. I know this sometimes is compared to GOODFELLAS, but for me, this is the superior one.

I love William Eubank's previous movies, THE SIGNAL and UNDERWATER, I knew I wanted to keep an eye on his career, so I had this movie on my radar ever since I heard about it. But I wasn't expecting to be blown away by the way Eubank handles action.

This was way more fun than I anticipated. It's a lean, straightforward story, but with an energy that builds up momentum as it goes along. It's a shame this movie had such a poor theatrical release, because this is the kind of action movie I love, and I'd like to see more movies like this.

Enjoyed it. I thought it was way better than the original, but also, its underwhelming third act is such a disappointment after a tremendous buildup. And also, how do you have Daniel Bernhardt and Olga Kurylenko in the same movie and waste them like this?
