It’s weird watching Air after The Grapes of Wrath. Air is a film based on a true story, ending in the classic biopic style of freeze frames of characters and quick summaries of what happened to them, though here it’s all about how many millions they made.
And I love how Affleck is having just a tiny bit too much fun shooting his friend Matt with a belly.

I was wondering if this is possibly the first real Gen Z movie. Its nihilistic philosophies and the amount of information happening just seems so contemporary. And I don’t mean only narrative information, I also mean visual information. I kept feeling that a faster-younger brain would enjoy it even more than I did.
