  I cannot fathom how boring, aimless, and absolutely shitty a movie can be. The camera work is so absurd and nauseating, desperate to make anything it captures to be remotely interesting. Every character is so unlikeable and so exhausting to watch. I kept mentally pleading for every single scene to move on so that literally anything would happen, but it turns out this movie is just pretentious nonsense with no actual fucking plot, and really I should've been the one to get up and move away instead.

  I wish I could be half as beautiful as post apocalyptic, 9-months pregnant Emily Blunt. I know crazy monster shit was happening but I was so mesmerized by her.

  I hated this film as a child, second-guessed myself and rewatched it as an adult, and I hate it even more now. What is everyone else on to find "HAAAAM" and "I LOVE SOSSUUUKEEEE" alone to make this a worthwhile film, cuz that's all I can find in the reviews here.   Home Alone 1990

  ★★★★★ Rewatched 11 Dec 2022

  Watched this with my family this year, which would've made it about 24 or so years since the very first time I watched it with them as a child. Seeing mom and dad laugh at and reminisce about each classic scene before it even happened kinda makes me tear up. Just goes to show that this isn't some silly kids movie that my parents were just putting up with at the time, it's something we all cherished and enjoyed around Christmas time through many years of my childhood.
