Really average Goodfellas-esque crime story but marketed for British expats in Spain. It’s kinda accidentally hilarious with its dialogue and has so many banger lines that it saves the whole movie. I fuck with Danny Dyer as an actor even tho he’s in shit films I still think he has this unique flair to his acting. But yeah again pretty average.

A funny but truly depressing film at its core. Leigh is like 80+ years old making films like this which is mental. It feels so real and current with fantastic performances from everyone (especially Marianne Jean-Baptiste who fucking kills). Great piece of British film making from an absolute goat British filmmaker!

Big budget Sci-Fi satirical picture from Bong Joon-Ho, what else could you need. Bong Joon-Ho’s ‘Hollywood’ films are never as good for me. Not saying his films are extremely subtle but like Snowpiercer is so intensely on the nose it can be a bit exhausting and I feel like Mickey 17 rides that line at times. Like Mark Ruffalo’s Kenneth Marshall is just painfully Trump and at first it’s funny but starts to drain towards the end.…

Yeah I teared up multiple times. Ngl Timmy might be in trouble with his Oscar cos Colman is amazing here and definitely the best performance I’ve seen out of the best actor noms. Extremely heartfelt film with the actual prisoners! So good. Art is life! This is what the alt right are trying to take from you, never forget that. We lose art we lose life. Fuck Elon
