Insanely impressive, and a unique experience for my little brain that’s been pumped full of Disney and Pixar and Ghibli since I was a kid. This the first time I’ve seen ancient China displayed with such romantic fervor and nostalgic pride, like how Ghibli movies treat the Japanese landscape and history, or as Pixar treats the tragedies and comedies of suburban American life.
