I’m a huge Phillip K Dick fan though this one flew under my radar - one of those ones i always meant to watch but for some reason never got around to. It’s sadly more timely than ever (police surveillance state, drug abuse victims being exploited, societal destruction for profit) but it’s an interesting little noir story told in streets i’m so familiar with. OC is my home and had I not moved when younger, i could see myself falling…

Great performances - sad and hard to watch as a child of divorcees but ugh… neither of these people were likeable! At all! Her ex sucked, he sucked, she sucked. And the kid is left as a victim at the end because she was born to shitty parents. My parents were great and did their best and would’ve sucked if they stayed together but also… they didn’t really seem to suck as people.
