  Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 2016

  This film made me want to get into the Harry Potter universe. I'm gonna piss people off when I say this but I think this is better than any of the Harry Potter films. With a series like that you're watching somewhat out of obligation because there's so many and you get invested, but this is new and fresh and exciting, I had so much fun watching this. I really hope they expand on the Wizarding Universe, but I'm not gonna start reading fanfics.

  This movie felt incredibly and awkwardly realistic. I don't know why. I enjoyed it a lot. It moved me. Why??? It's goofy and fucked up but really meaningful.

  This movie has a lot of themes that I really enjoyed. Birth, life, death, endings, and beginnings. It manages to cover many melancholy themes while maintaining to be absolutely hilarious. It manages to plant the beginning of many inside jokes in your head and randomly drops a punchline you didn't know existed later in the film. I like how everything is structured. Its linear and purposeful. Its clever and sad. Its really fun to watch.
