A charming performance from Nicholas Cage and a masterpiece in terms of self-aware screenwriting. I did feel that it was struggling to find its own identity too, it's absurdity often fell flat and I was unsure who to care about till the final scenes.

    Would recommend for

    - the sesame street-esque scene where he punches a bag of rice
    - the senseless murdering
    - bejeweled trans army
    - spiritual and political overtones that they didnt have time to explain

its an Indian version of The Dark Night rises
