  Extremely good pacing, particularly when revealing the mystery of the island. Surprisingly funny even though the plot deals with a sensitive subject matter.

  I liked the third act/ending but it felt a tad rushed and I’m unsure if I like how the ending was portrayed. It does feel like 5/6 other films mashed into one (Get Out, The Menu, Midsommar) but I think Kravitz was able to make it her own and kept the plot engaging.

  Overall really impressive, a strong debut by Kravitz and I’m looking forward to what’s next.

  (I can’t believe the original title was “Pussy Island”, I’m glad it was changed.)

Following
