  Week 11 of 2007 in 2025 brings one of my favorite bad movies. Dead Silence has a great rhyme for its creepy villain and not much else. James Wan puts together a couple solid scenes but nothing remarkable that compares to his other work. Definitely the worst of his collaborations with Leigh Whannell.

  Black Bag 2025

  I loved Black Bag. My fiancée and I walked out of the theater and couldn’t stop talking about how much we enjoyed this movie. It’s the kind of smart spy thriller for adults that never gets made. The best one since Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. Steven Soderbergh and David Koepp are in peak form here, working together on yet another project. The cast is great, I knew I was in for something special during the opening dinner.
