I absolutely loved the film. It was the first film of the season where I just wanted to sit and absorb every last minute. I stayed for the majority of the credits. I love the way the story was told, through each of the family members’ point of view. Torres left me in awe. It’s a sad but beautifully told story.

Nickel Boys 2024
I just saw it. I left the theater in tears questioning humanity. This movie wrecked me. It was the first one of the season to do so. It was beautifully made. Seeing a movie filmed from that point of view was surprising and nicely done. I was not expecting the ending.

I went into this movie blindly. I didn’t see who was in it, didn’t watch the trailer, and barely read the synopsis. I went to see it for Demi.
Man oh man, was I surprised. This movie was probably the sickest movie I have ever seen, in a good way. I was pleasantly surprised by the cast and their acting. I left the theater saying to myself that I would never complain about my aging body negatively again. 😉
