  similarly to blade runner 2049 Villeneuve asks you a question with this movie and then slowly challenges every argument you could come up with. intense, provocative, and really fucking gripping.

  I don't know who Jack Horner is but the fact that he's voiced by John Mulaney already made him enough of a villain to me.

  Anya Taylor-Joy and Ralph Fiennes were great but I'm kinda bored of this "*insert scenario* but what if it was creepy??" brand of horror. From the moment they arrive on the island I felt a passive viewer of mostly predictable advances towards the unsurprising reality of the dinner. The lack of interesting developments ruins any impact the subtext might have had.

Following
