Quick Take:
It's a solid setup with a pretty good cast, but some elements seem a bit too farfetched and underdeveloped to elevate this one to being anything more than a flawed good time. Still, the tension is there and the script isn't terrible, so it's definitely a movie that is enjoyable at the very least.

Quick Take:
Other than being all over the place in terms of tone, scripting, world building, and so much more, there's something uniquely unhinged about this one that makes it highly entertaining and worth watching on a B-movie level. It's dumb, it's fun, it wears both 80s and 90s action/sci-fi movie cliches on its sleeve, and by the time it was over I ended up enjoying it more than I probably should have. I don't think anyone could replicate this movie again even if they tried.
