Priscilla 2023
Priscilla starts out as a fascinating study into a relationship with a highly problematic foundation, but shifts gears in its second half into a rushed mess of the beautiful and lavish 1960s Americana high society life with masterfully recreated costumes and set pieces from the perspective of a frustratingly passive protagonist that is only the side character in the story of Elvis Presley, superbly played by Elordi. The film is therefore ultimately broad down by its incoherent editing and lack of focus.
