An overwhelmingly dense work which often requires your full engagement to truly enjoy, Soundtrack to a Coup d'Etat rumbles and buzzes with frenetic energy as information whizzes past the viewer at breakneck speed.
At its best when the pieces of what are presented are drawn together over the course of the film to finally reveal a larger overall picture of what the director is trying to imply. Not as engaging when those connections are tenuous or not as well presented.…
