  1) How did I not know this Disney movie existed before it was voted for in my film club?

  2) WAIT that was Shia LeBoeuf’s breakout role?

  This movie was so ahead of it’s time, especially for a children’s movie. It hit every note for me with cheesy villains and a camaraderie that I haven’t seen in ages. It showed the complexity of young male relationships, and how one’s family history can impact their future. All that rolled up with western femme fatale gunslinging, magic, and mystery? What a movie!

  This is the first military-centered action/sci fi film I have ever seen that is exactly right up my alley.

  There is definitely a metaphor here about guerrilla war tactics vs. technology that I could sit down and digest if i wanted to. (It is 4am, so I do not)

  Can’t believe this isn’t higher up on the action genre list. Hyped me up for Prey. 

  Movie friends: should I watch any of the remakes/sequels or should I just skip straight to Prey?
