The Brutalist 2024
“Is there a better description of a cube than that of its construction”
It’s a good day to love brutalism.

A Real Pain 2024
Kieran Culkin’s effortlessness on screen saved what was at points a script that was trying a bit too hard. Ultimately a really lovely film, very emotional felt very moved by this. But had to keep myself from crying so as not to disturb the tiny little dog sat next to me in the screening room. (Didn’t know they let little madams in to cinemas these days was a personal highlight)
