Lotta fun in the first 2 acts! But god I wish we could just have a dystopia story that doesn't include overthrowing the dystopia because it's the exact same shit every time and it draggged here, and I extra wish we could stop with the heavyhanded Trump stand-ins

This was nice and I was very touched by the ending showing all the kids at the NGO watching it together.
Unfortunately though, it felt pretty paint-by-numbers which I do think is partly due to the whole 'white American guy makes a film about poverty and feminism in a developing country' thing. If this gets picked up to be developed into a feature with a director who can give some more nuance and depth, I would love to watch it.

Came a bit late to the party so had already heard all about how shocking it is and then it just... wasn't.
Full star for the final scene though bc that's EXACTLY what I would do if I finally came into full ownership of a lofty estate after years of evil scheming
