Blasphemy I know, but this is my first time seeing it at the MusicBox. There is a lot of discussion about the movie that is impossible to miss. Hell, the one film class I took in college the professor called this movie and superhero movies fascism.
So before anything else, this movie absolutely rips. Between the bank scene, the other action, the cheesy Nolan dialogue, and the CHICAGO! in the it, I can’t possibly hate it. Hell I love Hong Kong…

Atmospheric as hell and only shot on a $15 camera and a dream. I’m glad this made it to theaters because it demands your full attention and it keeps it. It would not work otherwise just on a streaming platform.
