    A well-meaning film exploring our inherent need to make sense of the senseless, but to what end? Four good actors combine to give two good performances (Birney and Plimpton) as couples reeling in the aftermath of a mass shooting. One couple is searching for someone to blame, while the other is struggling to find their place in society with their unending guilt. These are worthy themes to explore, but the defiantly un-cinematic approach means those themes have to stand on their own and this script just isn't up to the task.
