When I was young I would daydream and not hear people, create games for myself where everything would be ok as long as I turned around or tapped something. What I love about this film is how it takes these everyday, relatable things and uses them as seeds to create a beautiful, moving, hilarious, masterpiece, while still at its core remaining simple story of motherhood and love against nihilism.

Macguffin hijinks ensue, leaving plot, character values and logic as little more than casualties in its wake. At best, a strangely entertaining series of preposterous events. At worst, a disturbing sign of what makes an apparently acceptable script for an A list movie.
