Another bodied John Lithgow role where he’s the lowkey sly/mischievous guy.

Walkabout 1971
It feels like there are very few scenes in the movie, but rather brief moments interrupted by montages of animals or landscapes. The dialogue and general narrative are so uninteresting, Walkabout is a massive disappointment.

Rashomon 1950
Kurosawa’s ability to navigate human behavior is unmatched, and he was doing this in 1950. The intricacies of each account are fascinating, as Kurosawa connects similar themes across each character from the very beginning to final shot of Rashomon.

Mickey 17 2025
An unserious mess that has several good moments, Mickey 17 is, at the very least, another original work from Bong Joon-Ho. Perhaps I’m biased because Robert Pattinson (the Batman) carried most of the movie, with some help from Toni Collette. I’ll always tune in to see Pattinson on the big screen.
Mickey 17 is plagued with constant expositions which disrupt the pacing of the film. Also, Mark Ruffalo whatever that was please don’t do it again.
It sucks that Mickey 17 was postponed so many times and bombed at the box office.
