  The fact that there was zero security on the premises of the house is kind of wild, that he relied solely on the network of secrets and how long it actually worked for is astounding. 
  Perfectly captured in the movie of the fatigue and gruelling hunt, trial after trial, setback after setback. Almost hard to believe as someone who was young while it all happened.

  Having not seen the older version, I cannot compare it as well and can only rate it as having just watched it on its own. Musicals have never been my preference in movies but as I’ve been growing to not hate them as much, this was a nice piece along the way. I enjoyed the movie and story and the camera work with lots of the songs was very well done. I did think it ran a bit longer than was necessary.
