  Camp.

  Undeniably, Bong joon ho. This is basically America in space starring donald trump and elon musk. Glad that Bong Joon-ho and Robert Pattinson can j fuck around and do silly things ig. 

  I think this was personally too real and worrying for me to lean into the satirical campiness of it all. And Pattinson is too much of a person to me to be convinced by his acting. All of me not liking this is my fault basically.

  Would recommend simply bc of the amazing fight choreo, art, and animation. I love love love action anime manga manwha donghua etc and rarely do I come across consistently thoughtful, well-choreographed, and brilliantly executed fight sequences. The camera direction and pov teaches the viewer how the fight is fought by drawing attention to specific movements, slowing down, speeding up, adding sound effect, motion blurs, etc. Ne Zha 2 stands worlds apart both in its martial arts and in the animation’s…
